This Privacy Policy explains how Orbitech LLC (“Orbitech,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the Orbitech platform, websites, and mobile applications (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Information We Collect

• Account information — name, email, phone number, display name, country, and password.
• Identity & verification data — government-issued ID images, and a live facial scan, collected through our verification provider to confirm you are a real, unique human (see Section 2).
• Content & provenance — the photos and videos you create or upload, capture metadata, and frames we extract to verify authenticity.
• Social account data — when you connect a social account, we access limited data only to verify your identity, account age, follower count, and audience geography. We do not post on your behalf or access your private messages.
• Payment & payout data — payout method details (e.g., wallet number, bank/IBAN, holder name) and transaction records. Card and bank credentials are handled by our payment processors, not stored by us.
• Device & usage data — IP address, device identifiers and fingerprint, app interactions, and log data, used for security and fraud prevention.

2. Biometric Information — Notice & Consent

This section is a biometric privacy notice and applies in addition to the rest of this Policy. Please read it before completing verification.

What we collect. To confirm that Creators are real, unique human beings, the Service collects and stores a biometric identifier — a scan of your facial geometry captured during identity verification — and derives biometric informationfrom it, including when we compare later-submitted content against that scan (“face-match”). Facial geometry is the only biometric identifier we collect.

Purpose. We use this data for one purpose only: to verify your identity, confirm a live human is behind the content, and prevent fraud and impersonation. We do not use it for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to verification.

Consent. We collect, store, and use your biometric data only after you give informed, written consent during verification. You are not required to provide it; however, without it you cannot complete Creator verification or receive payouts. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting privacy@joinorbitech.com, and we will delete your biometric data unless retention is required by law.

No sale or disclosure. We do not and will not sell, lease, trade, or otherwise profit from your biometric identifiers or information. We do not disclose them to anyone except: (a) to the identity-verification and face-match providers that perform these checks for us under written contract; (b) as required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process; or (c) with your additional consent.

Retention & destruction. We retain biometric data only as long as needed to fulfil the verification purpose, and in any case we permanently destroy it when that purpose has been satisfied or within three (3) years of your last interaction with the Service, whichever occurs first. Our service providers are contractually required to follow the same or a shorter schedule.

Storage & protection. We store biometric data using a reasonable standard of care and protect it in a manner at least as protective as that used for other confidential and sensitive information, including encryption in transit and access controls.

3. How We Use Information

• to operate the marketplace, match Brands and Creators, and run deals and licenses;
• to verify identity and content authenticity and to display verification results;
• to process payments, escrow, and payouts;
• to detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
• to comply with legal, tax, and regulatory obligations; and
• to communicate with you and improve the Service.

4. How We Share Information

We share information only as needed to run the Service:

• Service providers that process data on our behalf — identity/KYC verification, face-match, AI-content detection, payment processing and payout rails, cloud hosting, and SMS.
• Brands and Creators — limited information necessary to complete a deal (for example, a Creator’s verification status and delivered content to the contracting Brand). We do not share your ID documents or biometric data with Brands.
• Legal & safety — where required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect rights, safety, and property.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with our legal obligations (including tax and anti-fraud recordkeeping), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Biometric data is kept only as described in Section 2.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. You can exercise these rights by contacting us at privacy@joinorbitech.com. We will respond as required by applicable law. You may also close your account at any time.

7. International Data Transfers

Orbitech operates globally and uses service providers in multiple countries, including the United States. Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries with different data-protection laws than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

8. Security

We use technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level security — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The Service is for adults only. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn we have collected such information, we will delete it.

10. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and secure the Service. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect functionality.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will take reasonable steps to notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
