Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Orbitech (“we,” “us”), operated by Mohammad Adeeb Darweesh Ibrahim as a sole proprietor based in Indonesia, collects, uses, shares, and protects your information when you use joinorbitech.com and the Orbitech mobile app (the “Platform”). We are the data controller for the information described here. By using the Platform you consent to the practices described below.
1. Information we collect
You provide: name, phone number, email, country, social account handle and follower information, and content you submit. Identity & biometric data:to verify creators, we collect a government-issued ID and a live face scan (a “liveness” selfie). This is sensitive biometric information. Content: photos and videos you submit, including frames we extract from videos. Automatic: device information, IP address, and usage activity. Payment: processed by our payments provider; we do not store full card details.
2. Biometric and identity data — how we use it
We use your government ID and face scan solely to (a) verify your identity, and (b) confirm that the verified person appears in the content you submit, by comparing faces in your content against your verification scan. This face-matching is the core of our “verified human” product. We do not use your biometric data for advertising, and we do not sell it. We ask for your explicit consent before collecting it, and you may withdraw consent (see your rights below), though we may then be unable to verify you or release payouts.
3. Third-party processors we share data with
To operate the Platform we share specific data with the following processors, each only for the stated purpose:
- Sumsub — identity verification (government ID, liveness selfie).
- Amazon Web Services (AWS Rekognition) — face-match between your content and your verification scan.
- Sightengine — automated screening of images for AI-generation indicators.
- Stripe — payment processing and escrow.
- Twilio — sending SMS verification codes.
- Supabase — secure database, authentication, and file storage.
4. How we use your information
To create and manage your account; verify identity and content; match creators and brands; process deals, escrow, and payouts; detect and prevent fraud; comply with legal obligations; and improve the Platform. We process this data to perform our contract with you, to comply with law, for our legitimate interest in preventing fraud, and — for biometric data — on the basis of your explicit consent.
5. How long we keep it
We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Platform, resolve disputes, and meet legal and financial-record obligations. Identity and biometric records are retained only as long as necessary for verification and legal compliance, then deleted or anonymized. You may request deletion as described below.
6. Your rights
Depending on your location (including under the EU/UK GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your data; to object to or restrict certain processing; and to withdraw consent for biometric processing at any time. To exercise these rights, contact orbitech.hq@gmail.com. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
7. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than yours, including where our processors operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
8. Security
We use technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and row-level security on our database. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children
Orbitech is not for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor has used the Platform, contact us and we will delete the data.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and, where appropriate, notify you. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
